Belle House Restaurant

Belle House was created back in June 2003 & then I (Steve Waites) bought the business a year later. The aim of Belle House is to give customers a restaurant that everyone can feel comfortable in, get a friendly welcome & leave feeling expectations have been met & also surpassed.

We are a family run business and we welcome children of all ages, (as they are our future customers), we offer small portions of the menu or meals which may be lasagne, chicken & chips or pasta with fresh sauces to name but a few options. We are currently thinking of opening earlier in the evening and offering the lunch menu as an early supper menu to accommodate more families.

The teams philosophy to food is to buy local (if the quality is right), seasonal & cook it to the best of our experience & ability without fussing over the food with attention to flavour.

Although our menus are not extensive we do usually have additional dishes on offer and or if you would prefer a simple steak and chips we can usually accommodate.

Also our front of house staff has a mentality of nothing is too much trouble & a “can do” approach while customers are dining in a relaxed, informal setting.

The interior is stylish and smart and has been carefully designed, retaining many of the original features. The menus and style of cuisine at Belle House is “detailed modern cooking with a Mediterranean influence using only fresh ingredients, locally grown where possible”. Our menus offer plenty of choice and a few of our inventive house favourites and our wine list has been created to complement our food and style.
